35 adult dogs and 13 puppies were found in squalid conditions with no access to food or water. The dogs were rescued from a Wisconsin puppy mill operation. The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) worked together with the Animal Humane Society (AHS) and the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office for the rescue operation after warrants were served.
